BigPlanters has been manufacturing our self-watering planter for grocery stores since 1975. While many planter fads have come and gone, we have been providing the same quality planters to many supermarkets throughout the United States. One of our biggest advantages is that our planters can be shipped via UPS so we save you money. Once the plant container is full it weighs over 300 pounds so you do not have to worry about it "walking away".
BigPlanters is also pleased to be able to offer you tree tubs and concrete planters! Place them inside the store, and don't worry about your ficus or small tree dirtying the floors. These tubs won't leak, and are very stable so you won't have to worry about them tipping over. Choose from four sizes, from 90 gallons to 450 gallons. We have the tub to suit your needs.
Most of our grocery clients opt for a custom logo on their self-watering planters and tubs. We can manufacture any custom logo for the receptacle or apply something as simple as a "No Smoking" symbol. Supermarkets love to advertise and we can put as big as a 24" logo in to the side of the flower pot.
The other nice feature that is prevalent to supermarkets is that our planters are built to take a hit from a grocery cart and not be damaged. The cart will not be damaged as well. With all the bumping and grinding that goes on in front of the supermarket it is good to have a planter that can stand up to a lot of daily abuse.
Our concrete planters come in 4 sizes: 3' (600 lbs.), 4' (1100 lbs.), 6' (3000 lbs.), and 7' (4000 lbs.). Due to the size of the planters, they provide excellent security barriers.
